Elusiveness of Happiness
Here today and gone tomorrow.
Go to bed happy and wake up with Covid.
Ready to retire with millions in Bitcoin, North Korean hackers steal it all.
Enjoying a wonderful meal with friends at an ocean view restaurant and the waitress dumps my dinner in my lap.
On my tenth birthday I am taken to the ice-skating rink and I fall down and bounce my forehead off the ice and am in bed for three days.
It’s Friday night and so happy to be off work and end up in a drunken stupor vomiting and passing out.
Finally a two-week vacation snowboarding and the first day a tree breaks my leg.
Lasting happiness is impossible to squeeze out of that which is temporary, i.e. anything and everything created within the universe.
The wispy ghost of happiness taunts with the false promise that happy days are coming soon.
In between fleeting happiness, unpleasant and unwanted events slap me over and over to wake me up.
Only a liar would claim that their happiness increases unbroken day by day.
Nirvana exists.
The soul craves happiness but continues looking into dense night-time fog.
This world exists as the shadow or distortion of real life.
Look into a mirror and the reflection is a replica of what is real, it looks exactly the same.
This world and everything in it is just a reflection of the real thing.
The eternal being is the real thing, the body is the reflection.
Reflection of eternal happiness causes the fake version of happiness.
Bhakti yoga breaks the mirror of illusion and reality becomes apparent.
Nirvana or real consciousness calls and the path is narrow.
Stop accepting the reflection as the real thing.

Disfrutando de una comida maravillosa con amigos en un restaurante con vista al mar y la mesera derrama mi cena en mi regazo.
En mi décimo cumpleaños, me llevan a la pista de patinaje sobre hielo y me caigo, reboto con la frente en el hielo y estoy en cama durante tres dÃas.
Es viernes por la noche y estoy muy feliz de estar fuera del trabajo y termino en un estupor de borracho vomitando y desmayándome.
Finalmente unas vacaciones de snowboard de dos semanas y el primer dÃa un árbol me rompe la pierna.
La felicidad duradera es imposible de sacar de lo que es temporal, es decir, cualquier cosa y todo lo creado dentro del universo.
El tenue fantasma de la felicidad se burla con la falsa promesa de que pronto llegarán dÃas felices.
En medio de la felicidad fugaz, los eventos desagradables e indeseados me golpean una y otra vez para despertarme.
Solo un mentiroso afirmarÃa que su felicidad aumenta dÃa tras dÃa sin interrupción.
El nirvana existe.
El alma anhela la felicidad pero sigue mirando la densa niebla nocturna.
Este mundo existe como la sombra o distorsión de la vida real.
MÃrate en un espejo y el reflejo es una réplica de lo que es real, se ve exactamente igual.
Este mundo y todo lo que hay en él es solo un reflejo de lo real.
El ser eterno es la cosa real, el cuerpo es el reflejo.
El reflejo de la felicidad eterna provoca la versión falsa de la felicidad.
Bhakti yoga rompe el espejo de la ilusión y la realidad se vuelve aparente.
El nirvana o la conciencia real llama y el camino es angosto.
Deja de aceptar el reflejo como algo real.
